One of the most magnificent and storybook castles in all of Europe, Ludwig II’s Neuschwanstein Castle inspired the Disneyland castle. It is mostly unfinished (only 15 rooms out of the planned 200 are furnished) and the tour only allowed pictures from the outside. I shot this photo from a creepy bridge across a deep ravine that was worth the scare for the incredible view. November 2003.
