I will readily admit I hate daylight savings time more than the average person. I think it’s silly and unnecessary, and causes an unneeded interruption in business and commerce every time it changes. But this guy, from a letter-to-the-editor in an Australian newspaper, thinks daylight savings time is cooking the earth. Seems perfectly logical… read and allow yourself to laugh out loud. :)

Finally hit “submit” on my photo gallery and thereby posted my pics from Oktoberfest last weekend in Leavenworth. It was a perfect fall weekend in the little Bavarian town east of the Cascades, and despite less chicken-dancing than previous years it was a great time and a relaxing weekend away. Prost! until next year!
