My adoptive team (since i officially am a team of one otherwise) took me out to lunch today. They had custom menus just for me! :)

Our parents and grandparents are here for the weekend, more family are on the way, and the house is covered with streamers and balloons. Happy joint birthday to Danielle and I! (this is my cake, Danielle is only 28, but her day is coming!)

Passing through Seattle in a rainy blur, the cold pacific air a welcome relief after a stuffy pressurized cabin. It was an excellent week, just the right balance of adventure and downtime, and i'm so glad i was able to spend the time with Clint, and see first-hand the great life he has with Christi and Lilly in Texas. Thanks again, you guys! You run a great beachfront B&B!

Headed for the airport, i'm sad to leave the sunshine and a life of leisure with Clint but it will be nice to get home. So long to the great state of Texas. Ya'll come back now, ya hear?
