I had a great weekend at home, hanging out with my extended family, relaxing on the porch with a cold beer, and getting both fatter and tanner. Thankfully, fat gets more appealing when you cook it.

I’ve had a lot of pictures to go through this week so I’m a little delayed on the UTC, but fear not! It’s far from over. :)

I try and wear car-team-type shirts when I’m at car-type events as it makes me feel more hardcore and stuff, and this Nissan team shirt from two seasons ago was one of my choices for the 50th anniversary run of the Knox Mountain Hill Climb this past weekend in beautiful Kelowna, BC. I had a great weekend, packed so full of great cars and good friends that I barely had time for sleep, as is usually the case when I’m visiting our hockey- and beer-loving northerly neighbors. I have kazillions of fun pics for you all - they’re not captioned or anything in my gallery, but I’ll give you a sneak preview here to tide you over. My photography mentor James gave me some great pointers and helped me make good use of my new camera, and I’m really jacked with how cool some of the shots are, at least by my amateur estimation.

I’ll definitely be attending this event again as it was supremely fun. Besides, I’m always looking for an excuse to hang with the great guys in BC.
